An Indonesian plane with 54 individuals on load up is absent in Papua locale, authorities have said.
Contact was lost with the Trigana Air ATR 42 turboprop just before 15:00 nearby time (06:00 GMT) after take-off from Sentani airplane terminal in the provincial capital Jayapura.
The plane was in transit to the town of Oksibil in the south of the locale.
It is conveying 44 grown-up travelers, five kids and newborn children, and five group.
The plane took off from Sentani at 14:21 and contact was lost at 14:55.
Transport service representative Julius Barata affirmed the vanishing.
"We are not certain what happened to the plane yet and we are co-ordinating with nearby powers," he told AFP news organization.
"The climate is as of now awful there, it's extremely dull and overcast. It's not helpful for an inquiry. The zone is rocky."
