The destruction of an Indonesian plane conveying 54 individuals has been found in the remote western Papua area, authorities say.
The Trigana Air flight lost contact with ground control at 14:55 neighborhood time (05:55 GMT) as it flew from the capital Jayapura to the town of Oksibil.
Indonesia's vehicle clergyman said the airplane had been found in the Bintang good countries locale, not a long way from its proposed landing site at Oksibil air terminal.
It is not yet known whether anybody survived.
The destruction was found by villagers, who then alarmed authorities.
"Inhabitants gave data that the airplane collided with Tangok mountain," said the nation's executive general of air transportation, Suprasetyo.
The ATR42-300 twin turboprop plane was conveying 44 grown-up travelers, five youngsters and newborn children, and five group.
